Good location, friendly staff. Small gym. The biggest issue that we had was that there was no room to unpack our suitcase when staying there for 3 nights. The room is small which is okay, but not having a place to unpack really had a negative impact. Also, you can can see from the bathroom into the shower and vice versa. No lock on the bathroom door, and it wouldn't stay shut. I'm sure there is better value for the money if you're already spending the money for a 5 star hotel. I would suggest avoiding this place.

We stayed at Naumi about 8/9 years ago and fondly remember it as one of the best hotels we've stayed at in terms of service. The staff were attentive, could not do enough to prove your stay. When returning this year we didn't hesitate to rebook in here. Wish we hadn't in many ways. The rooms are still ok, though quite grubby in places and showing their age. What has gone downhill: 1.the complimentary minibar-previously packed full of drinks and snacks and replenished at no cost daily, it now has one beer and 5 miscellaneous long life juice or milk drinks. 2.coffee availability. The room gets three coffee capsules per day, of which one is decaff. So if you and your travelmate both drink coffee you're in trouble. 3.room servicing. After our room was serviced on day 1 we discovered that tea, coffee and sugar had not been replenished. We had to call and ask reception if the "complimentary minibar x1 only then there's a cost" also applied to tea and coffee. It didn't and they delivered some capsules, but still only 3 of which one was decaf. And no extra sugar. 4. Room servicing. On day 2 we were out all day, returning at 3pm. Our room hadn't even been started. To me this is a reflection on management not employing sufficient staff, not the room attendants. 5. Room servicing. Day 2, glasses were not washed or replaced. They remain dirty on the desk from last night. 6. Rooftop bar. What bar? The bar is there, but it's no longer used. There is a phone that you can use to call and order a drink, but I didn't see anyone do that whilst we were at the pool. The drinks list is poor and vague. (E.g. "White wine" for $22. What type of white wine?) Not a cocktail in sight. Not even a Singapore Sling!! How much income must they be not receiving by this decision? 7. Happy hour. There is a perfectly scenic and comfortable rooftop bar that would be IDEAL for happy hour. Instead guests are piled into a small, dark, disused conference room, with no windows or view. It is just the most bizarre scene-people sitting at a desk drinking a beer because the other 10 seats are taken. There is no taking a drink to the rooftop either. You're not allowed to leave the room with a drink. 8. Breakfast. The breakfast used to be great. Now the staff at check-in actively advise against eating there "because it's not very good". If I owned that restaurant (the space is sub-let) I would be p*ssed if I heard that the restaurant is dissuading the captive audience from eating there. 9. The nightcap trolley is gone. There used to be a drinks trolley set up in the hallway outside the lifts with spirits and snacks for guests returning from their night out and heading to bed. You could pour yourself a nightcap and take it to the room. What has improved: the pool is no longer freezing. There are many more great restaurants along Seah Street so you don't have to go far for a good feed. (Papa Tacos next door is amazing) I don't think we'll return as what made this hotel unique was it's quirkiness (the caped uniforms) and it's exemplary customer service. If the service is gone, we may as well pay the same to stay elsewhere.

I got 3 nights in a habitat (Small) room. Picture attached from a website. The bed is comfy, the room is clean, and they got free snacks. And that's pretty much it. The rooms are not quiet, you could hear people very clearly in the hallway, you could easily hear your neighbors walking in or out of their rooms and you might think it's your room if you're asleep. For that, and the tiny room and the open sink area I felt like a 3 star hotel. Paid around US $750 for the whole stay .. I believe I could've got something cheaper alsewhere. The location is great, 30 min walking distance from Marina bay sands. The service is good, and they are helpful.
